Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

FitTrack collects the following personal information when you register and use our service:

• Name and email address (for account creation and authentication)
• Health & fitness information you choose to provide during onboarding, including biometrics (age, sex, height, weight, body type, training experience), workout goals, and any injuries or physical limitations you record (body area, severity, and notes). This information is used to build and personalize your training programs.
• Fitness workout logs including exercises, sets, reps, and weight lifted
• Program assignments connecting trainers and clients
• Account role (trainer or client) and preferences such as weight unit and theme
• A device push-notification token, if you enable notifications, so we can alert you about new programs, connections, and completed workouts

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in two places:

• Cloud storage: All account and workout data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers with row-level security policies that ensure only authorized users can access your data.
• Device storage: The mobile app stores workout session drafts locally in SQLite on your device to support offline use. This data remains on your device until it is synced to the cloud.

3. Offline Data and Sync

FitTrack is designed to work offline during workouts. When you log sets while offline, that data is stored locally in SQLite on your device. When your device regains internet connectivity, the app automatically syncs your locally stored session data to our cloud database. No workout data is lost due to connectivity issues.

4. AI-Generated Training Programs

If you use the optional “Generate Program” feature or the program-import feature, the health and fitness information you provided during onboarding (biometrics, goals, and injuries) — or the contents of a program file you upload — is sent from our servers to Anthropic, our AI service provider, to generate a personalized workout program. This processing happens server-side; your data is transmitted securely and is not used by Anthropic to train its models. If you never use these features, none of your data is sent to Anthropic.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not use your data for cross-app tracking. Your workout data is shared only between you and your connected trainer (if applicable) within the FitTrack platform. We rely on the following service providers, who act as data processors on our behalf:

• Supabase — cloud database, authentication, and storage of all account and workout data.
• Anthropic — AI generation of training programs (only when you use the AI features described in Section 4).
• Expo / Apple Push Notification service — delivery of push notifications to your device (only if you enable notifications).

Each provider's own privacy policy governs its data handling practices.

6. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account, navigate to the Profile screen in the FitTrack mobile app and select the account deletion option. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, workout history, and all associated data from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

7. Children's Privacy

FitTrack is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
